Fibre (40%)

Different fibre recoveries from the prosess:

Fiber 8-15 mm: 34.3%, Fiber 4-8 mm: 2.1%, Fiber 3-6 mm: 5.0%, Fiber/Epoxy 0-3 mm: 3.2%.

The new completely recovered fibre can be used to produce new windmills.

PET Hard plastic (25%)

Unidentified plastic pellets completely recovered. Natural PET is a transparent type of plastic with a gloss finish. It has all the benefits of glass – being a strong inert material. Interestingly, unlike glass, PET is lighter, durable and a more cost effective option that is strong and shatterproof.

Epoxy (20%)

Epoxy or thermoset plastic is used as part of the recovery. That’s because the strong-properties of the epoxy allow for structural and engineering adhesives. Commonly, epoxy resin is used in the construction of vehicles, boats and also windmills. Essential in the recovery of the windmills.

Foam plastic (11%)

Foamed plastic is resin that has been frothed with air bubbles. When it hardens, the plastic has a sponge-like structure that can be controlled for softness or rigidity.

Foamed plastic offers a vastly wider range of properties than standard plastic.
